Just some useful tips
Choose guava based on when you want to eat it or what do you ant to prepare. Please note that they are very perishable. To make them last longer, you can store them in the refrigerator.
Green guavas are bitter, when ripe they turn yellow and sweeter.
If your guavas ripen so fast, do not discard them, they can be used to make juice, jam or some other delicious recipes.
Guava can be used to make sauces or haute cuisine stews, it usually combines very well with ingredients such as pecans, habanero pepper, cinnamon, among other ingredients.
